Beware The Idiotocracy!

I find other people to be completely astoundingly stupid.

In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads:

Blessed are the meek:

for they shall inherit the earth.

This might have been true had it not been that people are as thick as well as this statement being stupid by default - until the meek start carrying hand guns, they shall inherit nothing.

From their understanding of politics to themselves many people, many many billions of people will naturally assume that the world conformed to their understanding of it instead of trying to understand the world around them. This is part of the reason, I'm sure, that the world is still at war with itself in the east and killing itself like a junkie in the west. One part outward hatred, one part inward hatred and no visible sign of improvement.

I'll give this statistic a figure, lets say 94.6 per cent [this estimate is based on observational experiement whilst working in retail, for every 100 people through the door the behaviour of how the potential customer interacts with not only the environment but their understanding on the environment and their willingness to adapt to said environment. In other words, if people are willing to put their ego aside and ask for assistance when they genuinely need it or leave the store in a sulk that a bottle of Blossom Hill didn't jump off the shelf and smack them in the face, money fly out of their pocket and pay for the goods whilst the product bags itself up - essentially like some kind of LSD induced Disney tale].

In my experience 4 out of 100 will use their brain and ask, 1 know what they are there for and the 0.4 will make an attempt to engage their grey matter but get scared by their own magnificence of two brain cells firing instead of one and leave the store half way through a sale using a half-arsed mundane overly used excuse, such as "I need to use the cash machine" when every one uses chip and pin these days or "I just need to check with my partner" to which I then point out that whilst mobiles phones do indeed make communication easier, indeed you intention to walk out of the store, go home and talk directly to said spouse is definitely the most time efficient and energy saving way to go - oh wait, what you mean to say is that you didn't see Blossom Hill on the shelf and are too intimidated of trying new things so you're going to back out and go to Tesco instead, but still support the independent retailer in theory you self centred, smug and cowardly bastard!

Most of this statistic however comes from a collection of beings whom dwell solely inside the biggest hive mind of information, opinion, debate and utter drivel ever seen in human history - the Internet Troll.

But to make the point in a much smaller case I refer to the understanding of homosexual character roles in video games, and point out this discussion that's going on currently over the release of Dragon Age 2

The arguments from both these links are inherently stupid. The first calls lead writer on the project for constructing the games famous love interests as being tailored in favour of sexual minority groups whilst the second claims that the games sexual minorities are stereotypes and calls for the lead writers lynching. Both of them are completely unfounded and absurd!

In this writers opinion, both of them should be flailed and strug up as an example to others.

The problem is already here and, like a blob of old hard fat, has set in reality. We are ruled by an idiotocracy - where the belief of the individual is the only defining truth and truth in itself is a problem to be wildly attacked rather then debated and explored. And this is our future. The internet hath spoken!
